Dates: July 15-19, 2026
Program: United For Service invites young Muslims to an immersive four-night, five-day service program on a stunning Central California coastal farm that weaves together faith, hands-on land stewardship, and community connection — offering teens a grounding experience that reconnects them to the earth and community. Participants will stay, work, and reflect together on a beachfront farm, ranch, and woodland, engaging in meaningful service while exploring the Islamic call to steward the earth.
This program is designed for youth ages 13 –18, with a maximum group size of 30 participants — with a target cohort of 15 young men and 15 young women — including three designated team leaders. All activities are facilitated by experienced community partners and program leaders who manage orientation, logistics, and on-site coordination throughout the program. Programming is developed in partnership with organizations that ensure the program is both experientially rich and spiritually anchored:
Sage Steward Farm is situated on 770 acres of beachfront farm, ranch and woodland in Pescadero in northern California, and serves as a campus for regenerative land, learning and community.
Art & Wilderness Institute seeks to educate participants about local ecosystems, conservation efforts, and sustainable practices. AWI promotes hands-on experiences in nature that foster a deeper understanding and respect for the environment.
Tanzil Institute grounds the program in Islamic scholarship and spiritual reflection — helping participants explore how faith informs our relationship with the natural world and our responsibility as caretakers of the earth.
Cost: $825 program fee includes tent accommodation, meals, and local transportation.
Accommodations: Double or triple-occupancy glamping tents (twin XL or queen mattress) and on-site indoor shower and bathroom facilities.
Meals: Gourmet, organic farm-to-table meals featuring a seasonal menu curated by an in-house food as medicine chef and farmer
